Reiki is based on the premise that everything & everyone is made up of energy.  In a healthy body, energy flow is smooth & balanced.  Stressors such as unhealthy emotional states (anger, fear, anxiety), toxins & other negative forces create energy blockages that can and often do lead to “dis-ease” (illness) in the body.  Reiki I covers how this energy flows through the human body via the seven main energy centers (chakras).   

The history of Reiki & how it made its way to the US is also covered.  Hand positions are taught enabling the student to perform Reiki treatments on themselves & others.  There is plenty of practice time so students leave feeling comfortable with giving Reiki.  An attunement is given to each student. During an attunement this increases the student's Reiki energy flow another 4x.  Handouts, lunch & certificate are also included.

This course builds on the basics learned in Reiki I.  Three symbols, which add strength & versatility to Reiki's healing energy are expalined in detai, including when and where to use.  The importance of the auric field is discussed, as well as  distant healing in the Reiki healing sytem.  An attunement is given increasing the student's Reiki energy flow another 10x.  Handouts, lunch & certificate are also included.
